So, June 22nd, 2010 my second daughter was born. At 10 lb 7oz she was actually the smallest baby my wife has ever had, and there’s no gestational diabetes involved, my beautiful wife just has big healthy babies.
This is of course a big time in my life. It’s also hopefully going to be a turning point. After I get through the sleep deprivation phase of a newborn, and get an extremely large project at my day job wrapped up this fall, I’m going to have more mental capacity to focus on unscatter.com.
I just tried submitting an application to the Angels List. Funny thing is, I’m not really looking for money. I’m looking for someone with startup experience to learn from. Sure, if someone really got the concept of Unscatter.com and wanted to invest enough in me to quit my day job and focus on it 100%, I’d do it. But at this phase I’m probably looking for someone to play more of a mentor role.
We’ll see how it goes. The worst thing that can happen is that I’ll have to figure things out on my own. I’ve only been doing that my whole life.
